Spinología es la creación de un solo hombre, un hombre de una voluntad, una perseverancia en las ideas y una mente prodigiosa. Este hombre es Reggie Gold; a él y sólo a él, debemos haber purificado (elaborado) los principios de Spinología, que provenían de un mundo de antes, desde el movimiento de Straight Chiropractic.
Estos principios estipulan que "Hay una Inteligencia Universal en toda materia, que constantemente le da a esta todas sus propiedades y actividades, manteniéndola con ello en existencia".
En 1962 presentó Reggie su tesis doctoral "The Triune of Life", lo que le valió que le otorgasen el título de P.H.D. (equivalente, creo yo, a una cátedra en nuestro sistema).
Este librito, hoy en manos de miles de chiropractors de todo el mundo, equivalió en la época de su publicación a una verdadera revolución, y de él emanan los principios en los que se basa Spinología, estos están basados en Leyes Universales que son inmutables.
Reggie creó una profesión simple y concreta que beneficia al conjunto de la Humanidad.
En sus propias palabras: "Si todo el mundo, hombres, mujeres, ancianos y niños, desde el mismo momento de su nacimiento, hasta el último instante de su vida, viviesen sin obtrusiones en la columna vertebral, su vida se vería positivamente afectada, al no haber interferencias en su sistema de comunicaciones, que es la médula espinal y los miles de Km. de nervios que componen el conjunto del sistema, todo ello originado y dirigido desde, y por el cerebro, sistema que es el encargado en nuestro cuerpo de transmitir el impulso mental que mantiene la vida". Simple ¿verdad?.
